across the board,(jw,s,baptist, catholic etc.

My Story....Long and Im sorry

back 2002 i had a my daughter.
i was 18. her father was was pretty much an awful mate and never worked....the same old story.... anyway a long story short we ended up moving in with his aunt, who at the time, was a sister.

Dear "my story" well....all I can say is reread your own post again. Then ask yourself this. If looks like shit....smells like shit....and taste like shit.... maybe just maybe it could be.....you guessed it!
I was in "the Borg" for 52 years! You have the rest of your life ahead you. Don't make the same mistake as me....run as fast as you can! In the short term it well be hell...on the other hand in the long term it will be even more hell...and with the more hell, you will have less life ahead of you.

My Bethel experience
by new boy inbecause of the length of this, it will be done in two parts.
part 1. i when to bethel march 21,1970. at the time you had to be a pioneer for two years to apply, by the time i left in 1974 they were calling people in who had never pioneered..........average stay was 5 months ( they had signed up for 4 years)..........the reason they left was......well, it was hell.. one of the reasons was, knorr hated bethelites, but he loved the gilead students and why?
because when they screwed up they were thousands of miles away!........just before i got there, they had kicked out over 60!

Thank you all... for all your wonderfull comments.
I got just what I expected....the whole range from "I'm ridiculous and idiot" to others who have actually done some research (Wt wizard and others) on the net to know where things are heading in this country and the world.
All I'm saying is spend some time investigating. A great place to start is the "Zeitgiest movies" watch them. Then let me know if you still think everything is still great.
Either being a Jehovah's Witness or a an X Jehovah's Witness is such a small part of what is really happening in the world! It has nothing to do with the Jehovah's Witnesses or any religion for that fact!
This thing that is happening didn't happen over night....The "change" that is coming is happening now. There are things you can do now....the most important things to do is not buying guns, gold or food! The most important thing you can do is prepare yourself spiritually! If you choose to not believe in spirituality that's your choice....
There will be tough times ahead...but I do believe the world will be a better place in the future.

LONGHAIR GAL yes of course food and provisions are important...I'm not saying gold and silver will save you or anyone. I'm saying gold and silver now, before the "change" happens. Afterwards we could be in a barter economy....where a "chapstick" could be worth more then a bar of gold.
I'm not here preaching doom and gloom...I'm saying "change" because that is what I believe. The way of doing business on this planet, just isn't working. A great change is coming. What thing or things is going to bring this change... time will only tell. I do believe a better world is coming. I don't believe that it will be "Mad Max" or "Book of Eli" Instead people will work together much like the people of japan are working together now. The world will be a better place....just less people on it.
Jomavick....No bunker here. I plan on being on the other side of the shift...but I won't be in Portland. Who knows Nebraska could be the new west coast lol.

Great idea...I will check back in a year....actually many things will start happening this year.
In the mean time "what the hell" spend a little time away from this board and check out the many references I mentioned.
Of course that would take time....but since nothing is going to happen this year or the next. Time is the one thing you have plenty of.....
